Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst I to lead HRIS initiatives with a focus on Workday HCM, payroll, and benefits systems. This on-site role collaborates with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT to deliver robust HR data solutions.

You will develop insightful reports, optimize processes, and ensure data integrity across integrated systems, reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Information Systems. Base pay ranges reflect CA market levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Workday HCM administration experience or equivalent (9+ years total experience).
• Experience with HRIS platforms, payroll, and benefits systems.
• Experience drafting and delivering HRIS documentation and specifications.
• Experience with Workday development tools (Workday Studio, calculated fields).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems with HR, Finance, EIS, IT, and vendors.
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide key data and insights.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across integrated applications with documentation and issue resolution.
• Design and execute system tests and respond to user reports.
