Job summary

603 Legal Aid is seeking a detailed and proactive Human Resources Manager to support HR operations and foster a positive workplace culture in Concord, NH. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, payroll, policies, and compliance, while advising managers on employee relations and performance.

The role requires 3+ years in HR, familiarity with BambooHR or similar systems, and strong communication and discretion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR support experience.
• Familiarity with BambooHR or other HR software and payroll systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Nonprofit experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Support compensation, benefits, and payroll processes.
• Maintain HR policies and employee handbook.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Maintain confidential employee records.
