Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an HR Manager to drive day-to-day HR functions and manage full employee lifecycle processes. The role partners with the Regional HR Manager on initiatives to boost employee engagement and business performance while fostering Legends culture.

This position reports to the Regional HR Manager and covers high-volume recruitment, onboarding, training, and labor relations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 3-5 years of HR experience, strong HRIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or other business related.
• 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience.
• Extensive working knowledge of federal and provincial law including worker’s compensation, workplace safety, ESA, Labor Relations.
• Superior computer skills including hands-on HRIS experience.
• Must be comfortable presenting to small and large audiences.
• 5+ years of people supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with management ensuring HR strategies, processes and practices are implemented.
• Ensure optimum staffing levels exist throughout the unit for operational success.
• Provide coaching and feedback to all levels of employees and address various issues.
• Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations to employees and management.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee engagement and turnover data.
• Provide HR support during event and non-event days as needed.
• Assist with compliance with governmental and labor reporting requirements.
• Prepare documentation for compliance with provincial and federal laws.
• Assist with employee relations and investigations as needed.
• Assist with workers’ compensation claims, leaves and benefits administration.
• Develop and facilitate talent development materials and initiatives.
