Job summary

Siskiyou Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking a People & Culture Manager to partner with employees and leaders across locations. This hands-on role handles employee relations, investigations, training, and performance improvement while supporting the Director of People & Culture in executing department strategy.

Theposition requires a Bachelor's in HR/Business/Psychology or equivalent, 5+ years HR experience, and knowledge of employment law. Travel to organizational sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and investigations.
• Experience managing disciplinary and performance improvement processes.
• Working knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, and state laws).
• Experience facilitating training and coaching managers.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for employee and manager concerns and coach managers to resolve issues early.
• Track turnover and engagement trends; support leave, accommodation, and return-to-work processes.
• Manage performance improvement, discipline actions, and related documentation.
• Conduct impartial investigations and write objective reports.
• Design and deliver training; develop manager toolkits and assist onboarding.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to the Director and implement P&C initiatives.
