Job summary

Nscale in Seattle is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to advise managers and employees on conduct, conflicts, and compliance. You will own an end-to-end relations caseload and coach leaders through difficult issues.

Partner with Legal and People teams to investigate, update policies, track trends, deliver training, and promote a fair, inclusive workplace culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven employee relations experience and ability to work independently while aligning with global strategy.
• Innovative, data-driven approach to complex employee relations challenges.
• Strong business acumen with consulting, conflict-resolution, and facilitation skills across cultures.
• Ability to influence and partner at all levels and communicate clearly on challenging topics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employee relations matters, managing complaints, conflicts, and disciplinary issues from intake to resolution.
• Coach managers through performance management, progressive discipline, and difficult conversations; partner with People Partners.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws; develop, review, and revise People policies and procedures.
• Facilitate mediation and conflict-resolution sessions; analyze trends and report outcomes; design training with Compliance.
