Job summary

Modern Family Law seeks a People & Culture Specialist to lead day-to-day employee relations, leave, and accommodations for a multi-state workforce. This remote role partners with managers, Managing Attorneys, and employees to address workplace concerns from intake through resolution, documenting decisions and follow-up.

You will administer leave, ADA, FMLA, and local requirements, escalate risk when needed, and drive People & Culture initiatives with policy guidance and confidentiality in mind.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employee relations/HR experience.
• Experience conducting investigations and advising managers.
• Experience administering leave including ADA, FMLA, and state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day employee relations process from intake to resolution.
• Partner with managers, MAs, and employees on workplace concerns.
• Advise on performance, conduct, attendance, and leave-related matters.
• Coordinate leave administration and accommodations with payroll and benefits.
• Maintain confidential case records and track actions through completion.
