Job summary

Schillings is hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator for our Saint John, IN location to administer benefits, training, and safety programs. This role supports four locations with minimal travel and on-site work Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities include learning and development, compliance, employee relations, and engagement activities, with a focus on maintaining records and assisting management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows OS.
• Experience with HCM or ATS preferred.
• Strong confidentiality and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR activities and programs (benefits, training, workplace safety).
• Support compliance tasks (OSHA, DOT, FMLA, I-9s).
• Assist employee relations and engagement initiatives.
• Process timecards, PTO, and payroll-related tasks.
• Handle HR invoices, reimbursements, and filing.
