Job summary

Schillings in Saint John, IN is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to support four locations, focusing on benefits, training, and workplace safety while working on-site Monday–Friday. This role offers excellent benefits and growth potential as part of a collaborative HR team.

You will work with managers on training programs, maintain LMS records, handle compliance tasks (DOT/OSHA/FMLA), and support employee relations, engagement, and onboarding activities across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Previous HCM or ATS experience preferred.
• Basic FMLA, Benefits, OSHA, and DOT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR activities including benefits, training, and safety.
• Coordinate training programs, LMS, and compliance training.
• Update and maintain all department training documents and manuals.
• DOT driver file maintenance and Clearinghouse updates.
• OSHA reporting, recording, and posting.
• FMLA/Leave of Absence tracking.
• Audit and handle incident reports, including authorizations.
• Maintain location compliance posters and required information.
• Maintain employee I-9s and submit medical cards to the state.
• Collaborate with legal and upper management on compliance topics.
