Job summary

U‑Haul is seeking a Business Analyst to support people analytics and reporting from the Phoenix campus. You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, extract data from Workday and data warehouses, and deliver actionable insights to Drive HR decisions.

This onsite role requires strong communication skills and a degree in Business or a quantitative field. Experience with Python and familiarity with Phoenix operations are a plus.

Qualifications

• Power BI, SQL, and Excel experience required.
• Knowledge of Workday or similar HCM platforms preferred.
• U‑Haul experience with Phoenix operations preferred.
• Python experience preferred.
• Degree in Business or quantitative field preferred (CS, Statistics, Economics).
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on HR program data to provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with HR teams and non-HR teams to understand reporting needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Identify key trends, cause & effect, and forward-looking implications.
• Present insights clearly to facilitate action and change.
• Extract data from Workday, Databricks, and SQL data warehouses.
• Validate and clean data to ensure accuracy.
• Create ad hoc reports and analyses in Excel for management.
