U-Haul International, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Business Analyst to support people analytics and reporting strategy.

The role reports to the Manager of HR Analytics, Audits, and Reporting and focuses on data-informed decision making across management levels. You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, extract data from Workday and SQL-based warehouses, and present actionable insights while collaborating with HR and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience using Power BI, SQL and Excel to develop actionable reports.
• Knowledge of Workday or similar HRIS is preferred.
• U-Haul experience and Phoenix operations knowledge preferred.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to influence decisions.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on HR program data to provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with HR teams and other departments to identify reporting needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Identify trends, causal relationships, and forward-looking implications.
• Present insights clearly to drive action and change.
• Extract data from Workday, Databricks, and SQL data warehouses.
• Validate and clean data for accuracy.
• Create ad hoc reports in Microsoft Excel for management.
