Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to support Visier administration, build metrics, and own dashboards for workforce planning and headcount insights.

You will collect and scrub data from multiple HR systems, ensure data quality, and communicate findings to HR leadership. You will also maintain recurring reports, tackle ad-hoc requests, and contribute to data governance and process improvements across the analytics stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in HR, Analytics, or related field.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL; exposure to R or Python is a plus.
• Exposure to or hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Visier, or Tableau.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with HR systems such as HRIS or ATS, or interest in workforce and people data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and configuration of Visier, our people analytics platform, including building metrics, dimensions, data pipelines, and security settings
• Validate and troubleshoot data quality issues across the people analytics environment to ensure integrity and reliability
• Serve as first point of contact for incoming team requests and tickets, triaging, resolving, or escalating as needed
• Own and maintain recurring reports and Power BI dashboards focused on workforce planning and headcount data
• Collect, clean, and prepare data from multiple HR systems to support analyses, dashboards, and reporting needs
• Design and develop dynamic dashboards and reports that communicate findings clearly to HR leadership and stakeholders
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and data governance practices
• Keep the people analytics platform reliable and trusted by resolving issues and maintaining high data quality standards
• Enable faster, better decisions by delivering timely, accurate reports and dashboards to HR and business leaders
• Improve team responsiveness by owning the intake and resolution of day-to-day requests
• Strengthen workforce planning through consistent, well-maintained reporting and data visualization
• Support a culture of data-driven decision-making by making people data easy to access and understand
• Help safeguard the security, quality, and ethical use of employee data across all analytics processes
