Job summary

Synopsys Inc is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve scalable data and analytics solutions across our modern data ecosystem. You will work across the full analytics lifecycle, from robust data pipelines to semantic models, reports, and dashboards that enable data-driven decision making.

You will leverage technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and Power BI to deliver reliable, high‑quality analytics that drive measurable impact for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Architecture, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver end-to-end data solutions and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data products.
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, modeling, and reporting.
• Develop and support scalable data pipelines using Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt.
• Build and optimize semantic models within Power BI for trusted reporting.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and DAX measures.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, scalability, and performance across data solutions.
• Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams on data architecture best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, warehouse performance, semantic models, and reporting.
