Job summary

Johnson Matthey seeks a People Advisory Partner to drive local change initiatives, advise on policy, and manage complex employee relations cases. You will collaborate with unions, HR partners, and production sites in a hybrid, on-site‑as-needed setting, ensuring compliant delivery and strong stakeholder communication.

The role requires labor relations experience, US HR practice knowledge, and a collaborative mindset to balance risk and compliance across a matrixed global organization.

Qualifications

• Labor relations experience required and working with unions and CBAs.
• Experience in HR advisory or employee relations in a multi-shift environment.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR practices.
• Degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead local implementation of people change initiatives including design and engagement programs.
• Coach managers to cascade, embed and sustain change plans.
• Manage complex employee relations cases with compliance and union collaboration.
• Provide clear advice on policy interpretation and escalate high-risk cases.
• Bridge between enterprise frameworks and local execution with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure documentation, compliance and alignment with company standards.
• Offer insights on local risks and colleague sentiment for regional decisions.
