Job summary

Paychex is looking for a sales professional to grow the PEO client base by selling PEO products and services. You will develop new clients and increase profits within the PEO Sales organization, leveraging the Go-to-Market strategy to identify needs and present Paychex solutions to key decision makers in person or virtually.

The role involves scheduling appointments, visiting referral sources, prospecting for new clients, onboarding PEO clients, and achieving ongoing sales skills development.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• 5 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of Sales management and within quota attainment guidelines.
• Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders.
• Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources, specifically brokers, to secure referrals.
• Prospect for new clients and referral sources using phone, direct mail, seminars, and local marketing programs.
• Analyze prospects’ needs and determine which products are appropriate and refer to the correct sales partner.
