Job summary

Paychex is seeking a PEO Sales professional to grow the client base and increase profits within the PEO Sales organization. You will develop new clients, leverage strategy to identify needs, and present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders either in person or virtually.

Under general supervision, you will schedule appointments, prospect broadly, onboard PEO clients, and maintain accurate records. Occasional travel to conferences and meetings may be required as part of driving revenue and market

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required.
• 5 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of Sales management and within quota attainment guidelines.
• Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders.
• Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources, specifically brokers to secure referrals.
• Prospect for new clients and referral sources outside the Paychex base using calls, mail, seminars, and local marketing programs.
• Analyze prospects’ needs and determine appropriate products, refer to the correct sales partner for client satisfaction.
• Submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports and weekly activity reports on schedule.
• Onboard PEO clients following policies for a smooth transition onto the PEO service and resolve issues to facilitate onboarding.
• Represent the Corporation positively to clients and the community to create sales opportunities.
• Attend partner meetings to educate on PEO services and processes.
• Develop technical, competitive and sales skills to effectively represent PEO Sales.
• May travel outside the territory for conferences, trainings, or meetings.
