Job summary

Transamerica seeks a Pension/Data Analyst to coordinate Match and Profit Share calculations for Mega and Large market clients, developing IF-based formulas and ensuring data quality. You will load client remittance data, coordinate data transmissions, and support outsourcing technology while maintaining SharePoint and Access databases.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3–5 years of pension or accounting experience, and strong Excel/AQT/Spufi skills.

Qualifications

• BS in business, systems or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years pension, accounting or technical experience.
• Pension knowledge required.
• Strong PC skills: email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets.
• AQT and Spufi knowledge required.
• Excel proficiency with macros for employer contributions.

Responsibilities

• Format Excel files and implement IF statements for Match/Profit Sharing calculations for Mega and Large market clients.
• Accumulate data from remittance files and ensure quarterly accuracy for plan testing and employer contributions.
• Collaborate with clients on discrepancies regarding Match/Profit Sharing calculations.
• Review plan documents to determine Outsource Services.
• Develop test files for data to support Outsourcing and load data for Outsource Services.
