Job summary

32BJ Funds in New York is seeking a Data and Process Analyst in Retirement Services to deliver defined benefit and defined contribution process analysis and ensure alignment with the Funds' strategy. Under supervision of the Manager of Retirement Programs, this role handles pension payroll coordination, census data preparation with actuaries, and support for annual 1099 and IRS Form 8955 projects.

A Bachelor's degree and strong Excel/MS Dynamics/validation skills are required in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in defined benefit or defined contribution administration preferred.
• Knowledge of pension calculations and data validation preferred.
• Prioritization and deadline-driven work ability required.
• Strong MS Office, especially Excel, proficiency expected.
• Experience with MS Dynamics and QlikView preferred.
• V3locity V10 experience helpful for system tasks.
• Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills essential.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with thorough work approach.

Responsibilities

• Pension payroll processing coordination with IT and Finance.
• Review actuarial valuation data and census files for funded positions.
• Support audits of pension plans and 401(k) plans with CPAs.
• Assist Annual 1099 project with validation and distribution.
• Support IRS Form 8955 data extraction, validation and submission.
• Coordinate batch processes, including RMDs and notifications.
• Validate weekly census files for SRSP data processing.
• Participate in SRSP projects and data research.
• Assist V3 implementation testing and specs review.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
