Coordinate Match and Profit Share calculations for high profile Mega and Large market clients. This includes developing and implementing “IF” statement formulas to calculate Match and Profit Share contributions with 100% accuracy. Determine required data for remittance layouts, create year to date base calculation files by combining system data with client remittance data. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for loading data files for selected Mega and Large market clients that utilize Transamerica’s Outsourcing Services, coordinate the setup of data transmissions between Transamerica and the client and assist clients (internal and external) in the utilization of current Transamerica outsourcing technology. In addition, the candidate will support and update SharePoint and Access data bases. This includes using the ROC application to edit table data.
Format EXCEL files and program calculation by implementing “IF” statements to perform Match/Profit Sharing calculations for Mega and Large market clients. Accumulating data from ongoing remittance files. Ensure true accuracy of these “quarterly” accumulated files needed for Plan Testing purposes as well as determining Employer contributions. Work with client on discrepancies or questions concerning the Match/Profit Sharing calculations. Review plan document to determine Outsource Services. Work with the client to develop test files for data required to support Outsourcing. Load data and activate Outsource Services for In-Force plans. Projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business, system-related degree, or equivalent experience required. 3-5 years pension, accounting or technical required. Comprehensive knowledge of processes and systems used with expertise in most job functions. Pension knowledge required. Strong PC skills required including electronic mail, routine database activity, work processing, spreadsheet, etc. AQT and Spufi knowledge required.
Normal office environment. Minimal travel required.
The salary for this position generally ranges between $58,500 - $68,500 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
