Job summary

Wilson-McShane Corporation, a third-party administrator for Taft-Hartley funds, seeks a Pension Systems & Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Bloomington, MN team.

You will develop pension processes, perform valuation calculations, analyze data, configure systems, and support client implementations while upholding quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience, strong Excel/SQL skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.

• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Ability to write moderately complex queries in UniData, Microsoft Access and/or SQL Server.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Business Analyst or Systems Analyst experience preferred.
• Quality Assurance Testing experience preferred.
• Taft-Hartley experience preferred.
• Travel may be required up to 10% to other office locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of internal pension processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Perform pension valuation calculations for multiple DC Pension Plans.
• Liaison between internal and external parties (business and technical).
• Gather and analyze business and system requirements.
• Provide data analysis and translation support necessary to convert data to new systems.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for client implementations and other projects.
• Develop and maintain training materials, and assist with training as needed.
• Develop moderately complex queries and reports.
• Develop test plans and ensure changes are effectively tested (UAT, Regression).
• Perform procedural and computation testing on system outputs.
• Test system configurations to meet business requirements and end user accessibility.
• Log findings and elevate issues that may affect resolution or quality.
• Maintain communication with management, staff, clients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, and consultants.
