State of careers Rhode Island is seeking an Account Validation Benefit Specialist in the Treasury/Retirement division to validate member data, perform benefit calculations, and generate management reports. You will partner with employers and retirement plans to resolve discrepancies and support accurate processing.

The role requires strong attention to detail, Excel and Word proficiency, and the ability to analyze data from multiple sources to ensure timely, accurate benefits delivery.

Formación

• Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Must have a working knowledge of the Employees Retirement System of Rhode Island and have the ability to communicate such knowledge in a concise and understanding manner.
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and solid working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have experience in extracting, analyzing, validating, and summarizing data from multiple sources.

Responsabilidades

• Performs Account Validations and ensures accuracy of member account data.
• Conducts Benefit Compliance outreach, analyzes data, and maintain accurate recordkeeping for all plans.
• Evaluates incoming Service Credit Purchase requests to determine eligibility, respond to member questions, calculate cost, process invoices.
