Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in traffic signal maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on traffic signals and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and repair traffic signal systems.
• Maintain controllers, cabinets, detection, wiring, fiber, and wireless systems.
• Conduct on-site inspections of equipment and electrical components.
• Respond to service requests, malfunctions, and emergencies.
• Install and maintain traffic signal equipment and related infrastructure.
• Adjust signal timing and operational strategies in the field.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical plans.
• Document inspection and service records accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable codes; participate in on-call rotations.
