Job summary

Econolite Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled ITS Technician to lead and support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of traffic signals and related ITS devices in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The role requires field work, on-call duties, and travel across Florida.

Ideal candidates have extensive knowledge of ITS equipment, fiber networking, and safety regulations, with a valid driver's license and ability to lift moderate weights. DOT medical exams may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices.
• Ability to interpret design schematics, site plans, maps, and engineering drawings.
• Must have physical stamina for field work and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic database applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain ITS equipment including CCTV cameras, radar detection, loop detectors, signs, and cabinets.
• Program and repair ITS devices and associated cabling; operate field ethernet switches and fiber communications gear.
• Travel 100% to project locations across Tampa Bay area; may require night/weekend on-call and 3rd shift hours.
