Job summary

Econolite Group based in Miami is looking for a Full-Time Lead ITS Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain traffic signals and Intelligent Transportation Systems. The ideal candidate has five years of experience and is familiar with the latest technology in traffic management.

This role includes traveling across Florida, working in all weather conditions, and supporting the advancement of smart city initiatives. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in installation and maintenance of traffic signals and ITS devices.
• Ability to interpret design schematics and engineering drawings.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and an acceptable DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and maintenance of ITS equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair traffic signals and associated equipment.
• Provide proactive customer service and quality support.

Skills

Installation and maintenance of ITS equipment

Knowledge of OSHA regulations

Ability to troubleshoot traffic signals

Video Detection configuration

Strong communication skills

Education

Five years of related experience

IMSA Level II or III certification

FDOT Temporary Traffic Control Certification

Tools

MS Office Suite

Fiber optic cable and networking equipment
