Job summary

HOPE Inc. is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist in Phoenix, AZ to promote recovery-based care and empower members. You will provide coaching, one-to-one and group sessions, and help navigate community resources in collaboration with clinical teams.

Responsibilities include assisting with goal setting, ensuring safe living environments, and advocating for services. Valid driver license and TB test may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• AA or Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field or equivalent.
• First Aid/CPR certification must be current.
• Valid Arizona Driver's license with clean MV record (3 years).
• Experience in behavioral health or recovery-oriented services.

Responsibilities

• Relates own recovery positively through coaching and mentoring.
• Assist members in articulating personal recovery goals and steps.
• Provide one-to-one and group sessions on-site and in residences.
• Navigate community resources with members and coord with teams.
• Transport members to appointments when needed.
• Maintain safe living environments and assist with daily living skills.
• Document behavioral health activities in records as required.
• Collaborate with Health Home/crisis system for service delivery.
• Advocate for members to ensure necessary services are provided.
