Qualifications

• No minimum education or experience required.
• Attend a peer support conference/training and work toward Peer Certification in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer counseling and support drawing on lived experience to empower clients.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation and data entry when required.
• Help clients and families identify and reduce stigma and promote self-help participation.
• Assist the supervisor in organizing rehabilitative individual and group activities.
• Participate in clinical meetings to discuss client progress and goals.
• Participate in clinical supervision as requested.
• Provide crisis support with clinicians until resolution or suitable placement is secured.
• Provide transportation to clients when clinically recommended.
