Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a Restoration Center Certified Peer Specialist to support individuals in the RC, promoting engagement in services and recovery. You will work one-on-one and in groups, facilitate WRAP, and help connect clients to community resources while modeling recovery principles and person-centered care.

You will also assist with transportation, documentation, and collaboration with staff to empower clients toward independence and self-determination.

Qualifications

• Personal, first-hand experience as a mental health recipient.
• Certified Peer Specialist credential preferred; must become within one year.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; bilingual/bicultural preferred.
• Ability to drive and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support person-centered planning and implement Restoration Center Support Plan.
• Foster welcoming RC environment and accessibility.
• Provide support, education and advocacy during transitions.
• Facilitate peer support groups and WRAP training.
• Complete documentation per training standards.
• Assist with transportation to appointments when transitioning to community resources.
