Job summary

Chartiers Center is hiring a Peer Specialist for the Creative Recovery Program to promote a culture of recovery and empowerment within and outside the Agency. You will engage individuals, lead structured activities, and coach on wellness to support client independence.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Personal recovery experience required.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals and support efforts to maintain and develop health and wellness through targeted social activities in our Creative Recovery Program.
• Develop and implement structured group activities within the facility and in the community.
• Coach individuals in managing and improving lifestyle factors which impact wellness and quality of life.
• Provide information about recovery and wellness through direct program services to individuals and groups.
