Job summary

Chartiers Center seeks a Certified Recovery Specialist to help people facing homelessness access housing and support services, while coordinating with landlords and health providers to sustain recovery.

The role involves independent fieldwork in the community, direct client engagement, and collaboration with treatment teams to promote long-term wellness. We offer a competitive hourly rate and a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, with flexible hours.

• Valid Driver’s License

• Act as a liaison between landlords and clients
• Provide ongoing case management and referrals to help clients become self-sufficient

Job description

Chartiers Centeris a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third partyinsurancesand private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program.

A Certified Recovery Specialistchange lives by:

• Work with individuals experiencinghomelessness to help them identify a place to

live and to develop the skills andsupportsto prevent relapsetohomelessness

• Act as a liaison between landlords and clients
• Provide ongoing case management and referrals to assist clients with becoming

self-sufficient

• Work independently in the community and in client homes while still being a part of

a team.

• Work with treatment teams to assist with recovery.
