Job summary

Pilsen Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Recovery Support Specialist to help implement individualized service plans aimed at increasing daily living skills, economic self-sufficiency, and community integration.

The role uses lived experience to provide peer support, recovery-oriented care, and group-based psychoeducation while ensuring accurate documentation and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Driver's License is required.
• Community mental health experience is preferred.
• Cultural humility and the ability to build trust with diverse populations.
• Strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
• Uses lived experience to deliver peer support, encouragement, and recovery-oriented care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Facilitates structured therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
• Assists participants in accessing services identified in their treatment plans.
• Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards.
