Job summary

Recovery Corps, powered by Ampact, seeks a Recovery Navigator to support peers in building and maintaining recovery. You’ll mentor participants, help them navigate resources, set goals, and craft recovery action plans in a community-centered program.

As an AmeriCorps member, you’ll participate in ongoing training, engage with the community, and contribute to a year-long service cycle from September 2026 to July 2027. Minnesota-based, on-site roles with a biweekly stipend.

Qualifications

• In recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule.
• Basic computer skills (email and browsing).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Lean on your own recovery experience to provide mentoring and peer support.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Track participant recovery plan progress.
• Participate in training and professional development throughout the year, including Peer Recovery Support training.
• Share your experience with the community.
