Job summary

Telecare Corporation seeks a Peer Recovery Coach I to engage, inspire, and support members in exploring and meeting recovery goals. This role reinforces Telecare's Recovery Culture and provides crisis de-escalation support within our Desert Riverside CSU program.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification within 120 days. Beneficiary experience with behavioral health is preferred and weekend shifts apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• One year or part-time equivalent experience with behavioral health.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.

Responsibilities

• Engages and facilitates conversations to support members' recovery goals.
• Provides consultation to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture (RCCS).
• Responds to critical situations with de-escalation skills.
• Supports least restrictive environment during mental health/addiction emergencies.
