Job summary

Telecare is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach I in Sanger, CA to engage members, inspire progress, and support recovery goals. You will consult with teams to reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture and RCCS framework, responding to crises with de-escalation and empathy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, California peer certification within 120 days, and relevant behavioral health experience. Full-time AM shifts available with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification must be obtained within 120 days.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or behavioral sciences is acceptable.
• Minimum 1 year part-time equivalent experience with behavioral health challenges.
• Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle; willing to use company/personal vehicle for clients.
• Peer training or employment training completed.

Responsibilities

• Engages with members to explore and meet recovery goals.
• Provides consultation to the team to promote recovery culture RCCS.
• Responds to crises with de-escalation and engagement in least restrictive settings.
