Job summary

Telecare in San Bernardino, CA seeks a Peer Recovery Coach I to engage and guide members toward their recovery goals. You will work with the team to reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture and provide crisis-deescalation support.

Responsibilities include coordinating conversations, supporting group activities, and linking members to services. A High School Diploma, Peer Certification, and relevant behavioral health experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained.
• One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members to explore and set recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to promote Telecare's RCCS recovery culture.
• Respond to crises with de-escalation skills to maintain a least-restrictive environment.
