Kahak DC in Washington, D.C. is seeking a passionate Certified Recovery Coach to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. This role requires using lived experience of mental health recovery to provide individualized support to adults with serious mental illness.

Qualifications

• Certified Recovery Coach (CRC) credential approved by the D.C. Department of Behavioral Health.
• Personal experience with recovery from a mental health condition and/or substance use disorder.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in the community.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the ACT multidisciplinary team.
• Assist clients in setting and achieving person-centered recovery goals.
• Provide community-based outreach to meet clients where they are.
