AtlantiCare’s JBRC Operation Helping Hand in Pleasantville seeks a Recovery Coach who provides peer recovery support, develops action plans, and helps clients navigate treatment and community resources. The role emphasizes culturally competent, person-centered care and collaboration with case management to sustain engagement in recovery.

Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma, CPRS/NCPRSS credential within 90 days, and familiarity with the local recovery network; Spanish

Qualifications

• Two years of lived experience in the principles of recovery to assist individuals to improve their health and wellness.
• Familiarity with local recovery community and knowledge of local social services and resources.
• CPRS or NCPRSS credential required within 90 days of hire or transfer; Ethics training within 3 days; CPR/BLS First Aid within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized recovery action plan with measurable goals.
• Educate individuals on navigating treatment and recovery support systems.
• Provide recovery support aligned with the individual's preferences and needs.
• Collaborate with the case manager to engage and transition individuals to appropriate services.
• Advocate for community treatment options and empower self-directed recovery.
