Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist (Recovery Coach) in Pleasantville to support individuals in their recovery journey. Under clinical supervision, you will create recovery action plans, educate on navigating services, and connect clients with community resources.

You will collaborate with case managers to engage clients in treatment and maintain supportive environments that reinforce recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Two years of lived experience in the recovery process to help others.
• Bilingual ability is a plus, Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized recovery action plan with measurable objectives.
• Educate clients on navigating treatment, social services, and recovery supports.
• Assist clients in accessing recovery services and engage with case managers as needed.
• Provide face-to-face or telephone support based on client preference.
• Advocate for appropriate community treatment and empower self-directed recovery.
