Job Description

The peer specialist receptionist is responsible for handling front office routine clerical and secretarial duties such as answering telephones, providing guest assistance, data and basic record keeping functions.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Minimum one year office and clerical related experience.
  2. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  3. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  4. Knowledge of computers, Microsoft applications and keyboard skills.
  5. Telephone skills and ability to work a switchboard.
  6. Inventory Management.
  7. Verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Organizational skills.

Physical Requirements: Long hours sitting and using computer and/or office equipment. Some light lifting of supplies and packages.

Education Requirements:

  • High School degree required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in relevant field or an equivalent.

Valid driver's license in good standing.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database navigation preferred.

Location: Staten Island, NY

Pay: $19-19.50/hr
