Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN, self-scheduling role requires a minimum of 2 years in OR (Peds) and active Ohio RN licensure.

BLS/ACLS are mandatory, PALS preferred, CNOR highly valued, and candidates with plastic/reconstructive surgery exposure are a plus. The position offers weekly pay, flexible PRN scheduling, and a W2 employment arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• BSN degree required or in progress; Ohio RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the operating room for pediatric patients and perform assessments/interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist the physician in implementing the plan of care and ensure continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
