Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, OH. This PRN position offers self-scheduling and W2 status, with benefits and weekly pay options.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years OR experience in pediatrics, active OH RN license, and BSN in progress. BLS/ACLS required, PALS preferred, CNOR highly preferred, and credentialing completes prior to start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist physician in the plan of care and ensure continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
