Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, OH, on a PRN, self-scheduling basis. The role requires pediatric OR experience and strong assessment skills, with a focus on safety during surgical procedures.

Eligible candidates should hold an Ohio RN license, a BSN (or in progress), and BLS/ACLS credentials; PALS is preferred. Weekly direct deposit pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care or related experience a plus

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performing assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
