Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Research Project Manager in the Pediatrics department. The role oversees one or more studies, designs protocols, and manages administrative operations to meet scientific and business goals.

You will collaborate on protocol development, IRB processes, and data use agreements, while coordinating study execution, patient recruitment, budgets, and staff supervision. The position is hybrid with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: Requires Masters Degree (or equivalent combination of education and years of research experience). Masters Degree + 3 years of research experience (Bachelor's Degree + 5 years can be substituted).
• Aspiring to join Boston Medical Center's research teams with E-Verify and vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Study Development & Protocols: design and develop study protocols, IRB protocols, and DUAs.
• Project Operations & Coordination: schedule meetings, coordinate documentation, monitor study implementation.
• Participant Administration: assist with patient recruitment, schedule visits, enter data, administer questionnaires.
• Financial & Contract Management: monitor budgets and spending; coordinate contracts with consultants and subcontractors.
• Grants & Compliance: coordinate new grant applications; ensure reporting to NIH and other funding bodies; assist with manuscripts.
• Staff Supervision: hire, train, supervise, and manage research support staff.
