Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA, is seeking a Research Project Manager to oversee and manage domestic and international studies under senior leadership and Principal Investigators. The role includes protocol design, study implementation, administrative operations, and tools to achieve scientific objectives and business goals.

Responsibilities cover protocol development, study coordination across sites, participant administration, budgets and contracts, grants/compliance, and supervising

Qualifications

• Requires Masters Degree (or equivalent combination of education and years of research experience)
• Master’s Degree + 3 years of research experience (Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years can be substituted)

Responsibilities

• Study Development & Protocols: Design and develop study protocols, IRB protocols, and Data Use Agreements (DUAs).
• Project Operations & Coordination: Schedule meetings, coordinate communications, and monitor study implementation across sites.
• Participant Administration: Assist with patient recruitment, schedule visits, enter data, and administer questionnaires.
• Financial & Contract Management: Monitor budgets and spending; coordinate contracts with consultants and subcontractors.
• Grants & Compliance: Coordinate grant applications; ensure NIH reporting requirements; assist with manuscripts and presentations.
• Staff Supervision: Hire, train, supervise, and manage study support staff.

Education

Masters Degree

3+ years of research experience
