Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Research Project Manager within the Psychiatry Research department. The role involves coordinating a portfolio of perinatal and early childhood studies, managing budgets, timelines, and regulatory reporting, and supervising research staff across on-site and remote settings.

You will assist with study design, instrument development, and data management, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and collaboration with the PI and grant funding agencies.

Qualifications

• Requires Masters Degree (or equivalent combination of education and years of research experience)
• Master’s Degree + 3 years of research experience (Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years can be substituted)
• Excellent written and oral communication, strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant project management lifecycle including initiation, development and implementation of complex experiments
• Manage study timelines, budgets, forms and regulatory documents across sites
• Supervise staff and interns; hire/train; monitor expenses and contracts
• Assist with proposal development and manuscript preparation; present findings at meetings
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and liaise with IRB for submissions and amendments
• Support patient recruitment, data entry, and study visit scheduling
