Valley Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients in the physicians’ network. You will manage ambulatory scheduling, patient registration, and information collection to ensure accurate appointments and revenue capture.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, data accuracy, and teamwork with the care team. Includes handling payments and supporting HIM workflows when needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate's degree is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience is required; an Associate's degree may substitute for one year.

Mansioni

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk with a courteous, positive tone.
• Schedule outpatient appointments following clinic guidelines and offer alternatives when needed.
• Collect demographic and financial information accurately for registration and revenue capture.
• Process payments and balance cash drawer according to daily procedures.
• Answer phones within 3 rings using a standardized greeting and take clear messages.
• Provide patient information and assist with referrals and appointment instructions.
