Job summary

Monadnock Community Hospital’s Pediatrics practice seeks an organized Office Coordinator to supervise daily operations, manage scheduling, and oversee billing workflows. You will implement priorities, guide staff, and maintain compliant, patient-focused service in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires strong communication, excellent organizational skills, and at least two years of relevant experience; supervisory exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have ability to communicate with patients and co-workers.
  • Must be tactful and diplomatic.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must understand all scheduling protocols.
  • Must be able to work with automated billing and scheduling software.
  • Must exhibit a positive attitude, and be willing to work as part of a team.
  • Must be respectful of others, and have a pleasant personality.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with distressed patients calmly.
  • Two years of relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations, assign tasks, ensure priorities are met.
  • Monitor resources to achieve department goals.
  • Provide detailed instructions for effective task execution.
  • Maintain open and honest communication within the team.
  • Recruit and retain qualified staff aligning with values.
  • Optimize performance via staff deployment and feedback.
  • Develop staff along career paths aligned with needs.
  • Review monthly financial data and report variances.
  • Ensure resources align with budget.
  • Use patient info to strengthen relationships and identify improvements.
  • Collect and analyze patient feedback for process changes.
  • Maintain a patient-focused culture within the unit.
  • Monitor processes for compliance with metrics and policies.
  • Enforce policies to maintain high operational standards.
  • Collaborate with other hospital departments internally.
  • Coordinate with external orgs for repairs/improvements.
  • Monitor activities and adjust to milestones.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are in good condition.
  • Comply with policies, support QM, ensure compliance.
  • Manage daily patient flow and provider schedules; oversee reminders.
  • Update Office Manager/Practice Director on plant issues with Hospital Departments.
