Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA, seeks a Pediatric Ambulatory Operations Supervisor to oversee administrative and financial activities in the Pediatric Operations department on a full-time basis.

You will supervise medical assistants, manage schedules, process timesheets, support onboarding, and coordinate trainings while ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations within a large trauma and emergency services network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years minimum experience in a similar office setting; supervisory experience preferred.
• Requires strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; leadership ability to guide, direct, and mentor staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and E-mail; familiarity with ProWFM and Workday.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates administrative and financial records for the assigned Department.
• Directly supervises medical assistants and serves as the administrative liaison for the department.
• Manages workflow, schedules, timesheets, and payroll inquiries; supports onboarding and orientation.
• Plans and coordinates meetings, trainings, and staff development; maintains department files and records.
• Assists with project management, quality improvement, and vendor/IT coordination as needed.
