Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring Medical Assistant I-III in Houston. Positions support patient care under licensed clinicians, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels and pathways for career growth.

Pay ranges from $16 to $32 per hour depending on level and experience. A comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, and retirement contributions are included where eligible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR 1+ years of directly related experience without certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care functions under supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort per standards.
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RN.
• Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks (MA II/III).
