Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, parents, clinical staff, and the public.
• Ability to plan and organize and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families, check them in, and notify staff of arrivals.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments and manage physician calendars.
• Handle front office communications via phone and email.
• Maintain patient accounts with updated personal and financial information.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals and delays.
• Process billing transactions and collect payments at the time of service.
• Prepare and maintain electronic and printed medical records.
• Keep reception area tidy and welcoming.
• Provide general administrative support such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
