Job summary

Phoenix Children's Urgent Care facilities are hiring a part-time Clinical Supervisor to oversee nursing staff across four locations (Mesa, East Valley, Northwest Valley, Scottsdale). The role targets an experienced nurse with leadership experience, 4-hour weekday shifts (4 PM–8 PM) and a rotating 12-hour weekend monthly.

The supervisor coordinates shift flow, supports staffing, monitors patient volumes, ensures quality care, and escalates issues to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year in a leadership role.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; pediatrics preferred.
• Leadership in urgent care or ER experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations and staffing to deliver quality patient care.
• Oversee staffing assignments and ensure appropriate skill mix.
• Monitor unit environment and resource availability to support safe care.
• Lead documentation and reporting for shift handoffs and quality indicators.
• Mentor staff, promote professional development, and uphold clinical standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive performance improvement and patient safety.
