Cincinnati Children’s on the Burnet Campus is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Transitional Care Center (TCC). This part-time role (0.6 FTE) involves 24 weekly hours and care for a complex patient population requiring ventilatory support, with a strong emphasis on patient/family education and discharge planning.

The position offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment where safety, compliance, and clinical excellence guide daily care and family coaching.

Qualifications

• Associate or Diploma Registered Nurse with 2+ years of experience.
• BSN preferred; may require enrollment if not already held.
• Active Ohio RN license; other state licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance and safety standards; support leadership in safety and policy adherence.
• Apply systems thinking to coordinate care and ensure family education and safety.
• Document care plans, outcomes, and patient/family education using established protocols.
• Engage in interprofessional practice and shared decision making with the care team.
• Support continuous improvement through clinical inquiry and performance review.
